II Samuel 14:2 | At mitubud ya i Joab king Tecoa, at pepayaus ya manibat karing metung a biasang babai, at sinabi na kea, Pagamuamu ku keka, magkanuari kang talapagpaldas, at misulud kang paldas a gayak, pagamuamu ku keka, at e mu lalanian king laru ing sarili mu, nung e magkanuanri kang metung a babai a makaba nang panaun magpaldas king uli ning mete: | And Joab sent to Tekoah, and fetched thence a wise woman, and said unto her, I pray thee, feign thyself to be a mourner, and put on now mourning apparel, and anoint not thyself with oil, but be as a woman that had a long time mourned for the dead: |

And he said, As the LORD liveth, there shall not one hair of thy son fall to the earth. |

At sinabi na, Sulung sabian mu. | Then the woman said, Let thine handmaid, I pray thee, speak one word unto my lord the king. And he said, Say on. |
II Samuel 14:13 | At sinabi na ning babai, Baket pin inisip mu ing anti kanitang bague salang king balayan na ning Dios? uling king pamaniabi kaniting amanu ing ari anti ya naman ing metung a maki kasalanan, ketang ing ari e na ne paulian pasibayu ing keang inugse. | And the woman said, Wherefore then hast thou thought such a thing against the people of God? for the king doth speak this thing as one which is faulty, in that the king doth not fetch home again his banished. |
II Samuel 14:14 | Uling itamu sukat tang mate, at anti tamu mung danum a mibulus king gabun, a e na malyaring atipun pasibayu; ni ing Dios e na lalako ing bie, nung e gagawa yang paralan, a ing inugse e manatiling makaugse kea. | For we must needs die, and are as water spilt on the ground, which cannot be gathered up again; neither doth God respect any person: yet doth he devise means, that his banished be not expelled from him. |

And Absalom's servants set the field on fire. |
II Samuel 14:31 | Kanita tinalakad ya i Joab, at miras ya kang Absalom king keang bale, at miniabi ya kea, Baket pin silaban da ding talasuyu mu ing kanakung marangle? | Then Joab arose, and came to Absalom unto his house, and said unto him, Wherefore have thy servants set my field on fire? |
II Samuel 14:32 | At mekibat ya i Absalom kang Joab, Oini, mitubud ku keka, ngaku, Ume ka keni, barakang itubud king ari, a sabian mu, Baket meko ku king Gesur? mayap pa ing manuknangan ku karin. Ngeni pin pabustan mung akit ku ing lupa na ning ari; at nung ating dewakan kanaku, pabustan meng patayan naku. | And Absalom answered Joab, Behold, I sent unto thee, saying, Come hither, that I may send thee to the king, to say, Wherefore am I come from Geshur? it had been good for me to have been there still: now therefore let me see the king's face; and if there be any iniquity in me, let him kill me. |
